We suggest perusing this list to open the flood gates to your own ideas and then carefully create a shortlist of 10, 20 even 30 pleasant activities you’d love to be experiencing more often in your daily life.
The next important step is to then schedule your daily pleasure. Yes! Daily. Can you imagine how you would feel if you engaged in at least one joyful experience everyday?
Let’s give it a go. Everyday for the next week, schedule a different PA (that’s pleasant activity!) and prioritise it in your diary. After one week, if you’re feeling good, do it again for the following week, but this time choose different activities. It’s all about the hedonic adaptation! If that feels good, do it again the following week, and again, and again, and again.
